Anne Sharman

For a day job Anne works as a Psychic Clairvoyant and Tarot Card reader.  Prior to doing this work full time she worked as a PA in the business and media world for over 30 years.  She has also worked on two psychic TV channels as a presenter and also as a film and TV extra.

Anne has been writing for over 40 years and yet it was not until joining The Write Place in November 2012 that she had the courage to submit anything for publication.  To her complete shock and jubilation her first submission - a short Christmas story for The Weekly News, was accepted for publication in a December issue, along with two other members making it a hat trick for The Write Place.

Anne started in the novel class originally as she is writing a novel based on her experiences in the psychic world. Since joining Anne has discovered that her novel seems to have developed a mind of its own and keeps metamorphosing into something else entirely!  For this reason she has found herself attending the Get Writing Class which is re-igniting her passion for writing short stories.  Having attended many creative writing classes and groups over the years Anne feels that she has found the 'right place'!

Anne has been married to Andy for 40 years and has two adult sons.
