Francesca Burgess

Francesca's life in Kent is juggled between a large family, exam invigilation and writing.

Her early career as a teacher was followed by a number of voluntary jobs and several years working for her husband (not recommended!). She also spent five years as editor of a parish magazine.

When she's not busy working on her latest novel, she enjoys history, genealogy and reading.

Francesca has also had a piece, 'A song for my daughter, Carmela' published in the Guardian.
