7-9pm- Creative Writing- Thursday evenings
The perfect class for those not ready for publication or who wish to write for a hobby. The class will study how to write short stories, find ideas and turn them into prose. We aim to show that writing is not stuffy or academic and can be good fun!

There are currently two classes running at The Mick Jagger Centre every Wednesday evening.
5.30pm- 7.30pm: Write a Novel
Learn to craft a novel from start to finish. The sessions focus on every issue you will need to address to create your masterpiece. Subjects include ideas and planning, characters, plot, dialogue, theme and style. Students are encouraged to write a set number of words each week, breaking the project into manageable chunks. Fellow students will provide invaluable support and feedback each week.
7.30pm- 9.30pm: Publish your Writing
For writers who want to take their writing to the next level and get published, this is the class to sign up for. The sessions look at ways to make writing pay by selling short stories, winning competitions and lots of other routes to publication. There will be plenty of market tips and fresh ideas. Learn to polish writing skills by looking at characterization, effective plot structure and winning ideas.
